NICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Charlottesville, Virginia
13-week assignment
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
36 or 48 hours accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Infant-Driven Feeding
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred / Conditional Items

Dr. Brown’s Infant Driven Feeding certification is required, but may be submitted as pending; it has a $200 cost
BSN is preferred; if no BSN, ASN is required
ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required depending on unit/cost center
NIH Stroke Certification may be required depending on unit/cost center

Scheduling Notes

3 weekends in each 6-week scheduling period
Every other holiday
No time off approved for Labor Day weekend
No time off approved during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
Up to 40 hours of time off may be approved
