Cath Lab Tech (Radiology / Cardiology) - Rockville, Maryland

Position Details

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), 40 hours per week
Caseload Ratio: 8-12 cases
Weekend Requirement: 1 full weekend call per month
On-call Requirement: Approximately 7-10 days per month; STEMI call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation; 2-hour callback guaranteed
Floating: No floating between units
Start Date: ASAP
Block schedule: Not accommodated
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital, Level II Trauma
Total Staffed Beds: 360
Charting Systems: Cerner, McKesson
Scrub Color: Provided
Parking: Badge allows free exit from patient visitor parking garage

Job Description

Role: Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech
RCIS certification accepted if candidate has IR experience

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Maryland
Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
Experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
Certification: RCIS or ARRT
ACLS (AHA only)
BLS (AHA only)
