Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts of 12 hours each; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Job Description
- Dual Modality X-Ray Tech/CT Tech role requiring operation as both CT Tech and X-Ray Tech.
- Must have recent experience in both Radiology Tech and CT Tech (total 2 years combined).
- Stroke and Trauma experience required.
- Imaging experience with the following areas: Abdomen/GI/Pelvis, Chest/Thorax, Head/Neck, Extremities, Spine/Pelvis, Portables.
- Skilled in PACS, Multiplanar Reconstruction (preferred), Preparation/Administration of Contrast Media, Starting IVs, Brain Perfusion, CTA, CCTA's (preferred).
- Experience with isolation precautions.
- Work involves all patient ages from neonate to older adult in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
- CT scanner used: Siemens GoTop.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT certification
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
- Experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
