Location: Chillicothe, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3 weekdays (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hours: 24 hours per week (3 days × 8 hours)

Job Description

• Provide speech-language pathology services in home health settings across multiple counties (Fayette, Ross, Pickaway, Vinton, Jackson, Pike).
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Focus on effective communication and positive interactions with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers.
• Apply knowledge of speech therapy best practices and make appropriate clinical judgments.
• Handle situations with appropriate solutions, demonstrating attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain timeliness.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Ohio
• Valid Driver's License

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Background check and fingerprinting required prior to or at the time of hire.
• Drug screening: 5-panel urine drug screen required prior to start.
• Immunizations and health documentation may be required, including but not limited to:

  • Hepatitis B vaccination or declination form.
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within the last year.
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season.
• Physical exam may be required depending on state regulations.
• Photo for badge and proof of auto insurance required.
• Completion of facility-specific safety and orientation acknowledgments as applicable.
