Cardiac Stress Testing RN

Overview

• Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Hours: 40 per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

• Outpatient and inpatient cardiac stress testing, including stress echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echocardiograms, nuclear stress testing, and tilt table testing
• Assist with pacemaker clinic

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Cardiology experience within the last year
• 1 year of cardiology experience
• ACLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Certification
• 2 professional references verified within 2 years of start

Compliance and Screening

• 7-year background check required within 1 year of start, including SS trace, county searches for the last 7 years of locations lived/worked/in school, nationwide search, and sex offender search
• Wisconsin Caregiver Search Results required within 90 days of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Negative 10-panel drug screen with expanded opiates within 14 days before start
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption required during flu season
• Photo for badge
• Confidentiality statement
• Skills checklist

Additional Notes

• Competency and medication/pharmacology testing may be required as applicable to the profession
• Color blind testing is required only for dialysis/kidney center roles
