Job Opportunity: Sterile Processing Tech
Location: North Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with holiday rotation
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Floating: May be required to float within scope to other related facilities or campuses
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Sterile Processing Tech role
- First-time Travelers: Not accepted
- Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Experience in Sterilization: Required experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping of sterile processing materials
- Preferred Case Experience: Neuro, Genitourinary (GU), robotics, ENT, orthopedic, transplant, gynecology
- Certifications Required: CBSPD and/or HSPA (national certification for sterile processing)
- BLS: Not required for this role

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Sterile Processing Technician experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel assignment as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Current CBSPD or HSPA certification
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
