Job Opportunity: Critical Care Float Nurse
Location
- New Haven, Connecticut

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Night shift, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Job Description
- Float between 2 nearby campuses within the ICU Float Pool covering 5 ICU specialties and step-down units
- Must float within scope to meet facility needs, including pulmonary step-down unit with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Guaranteed hours provided
- Shuttle service available between campuses; parking available at a cost
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
