Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech

Location

Dayton, Ohio

Employment Type

Travel/Contract

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
On-call: 1 day per week and every 4th weekend (Friday 3 PM – Monday 7 AM)

Job Description

Must have open heart surgical experience.
Flexibility to work across multiple surgical service lines including general, gynecology, vascular, urology, podiatry, orthopedic, and spine.
The CVOR team floats between two hospital campuses.
Certified Surgical Technologist preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

High school graduate or GED, or at least 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Minimum 10 years of experience as a CVOR Technologist.
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year.
Surgical Technologist experience.

Certification

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) through:
- Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist (CAAHEP accredited program and national exam), or
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
