Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist - Home Health

Overview

Role Responsibilities

• Prioritize start of care visits.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Mandatory reporting of start of care visits by the next day.
• Clinical notes and documentation due within 48 hours of visits.
• Maintain timely communication with supervisor, intake, and office.
• Be responsive during normal business hours.

Requirements

• License: California Occupational Therapist License.
• Experience: Minimum of one year in Home Health.
• Territory: Alameda, California (may require expansion as needed).

Schedule

• Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with one weekend rotation per month.
• Training: 3 full days (one in-house and two in the field).

Documentation and Equipment

• Documentation System: Kinnser.
• Equipment Issued: iPad, Ring Central.

Additional Information

• Mileage Reimbursement: $0.655/mile (from first to last patient).
• Parking and Toll Reimbursement: Paid.
• Company Car: Option available with a decreased bill rate.

Productivity Requirement

• Points Required: 30 points per week.
• Point to Hourly Conversion: 1 point = 1.33 hours.
• Average Daily Caseload: Equivalent to 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. Overtime must be pre-approved by the Clinical Supervisor.

Visit Types and Point Values

• Start of Care: 2 points
• Recertification, Resumption of Care, OASIS Discharge, Evaluation: 1.5 points
• Revisit, NON OASIS Discharge: 1 point
