Location
- Quincy, Illinois
Schedule
- Night shift
- 7 days on / 7 days off
- Starts Monday evenings at 9:00 PM and ends at 7:30 AM
- Overnight position
- 70 hours per 2-week pay period
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacist license in Illinois
- Pharmacist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Pharmacist experience
- BLS
Role Overview
- Dispenses medications accurately and efficiently
- Reviews drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and dose appropriateness
- Recommends medication changes or alternatives when needed
- Uses pharmacokinetic concepts to support dosage adjustments per hospital protocol
- Recommends and monitors lab tests to assess therapeutic effectiveness and toxicity
- Identifies and reports suspected adverse drug reactions
- Provides care for patients across the lifespan, from neonate through geriatric
