Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- 2+ years of specialty experience
Unit Details
- Telemetry unit with 22 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3-4
- Nurses must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Passing dysrhythmia exam required
- No RN drip titration required

- Stroke
- TIA
- Seizure
- TBI
- Mixed med tele
Equipment / Clinical Support
- Bipap
- Cpap
- High-flow nasal cannula
- No vents
Floating
- May float to IMCU or Med/Surg
Orientation
- 1 shift on the unit

- No call or standby requirement
- Navy scrubs

The cafeteria is a hit and miss. Some days they have great sea food with saffron rice! Some days microwaved food :D. But there is alwaaaaays, pizza available ;)
