Meditech experience

Emergency Center / ER
6-bed behavioral lock down area staffed by psych
Approx. 180–200 visits per day
Ratios: 1:4
Central monitoring tech
Peds to geriatrics
Trauma patients seen
Some neuro trauma ships out
Some ortho kept, some shipped out
No burns kept
CVA center

Schedule / Operations

Start ASAP
Every other weekend
Every other holiday
2-shift floor-specific orientation
ORT expected during week one
Callout process should be included
Auto lunch deductions
