Schedule

12-hour night shifts
Every other weekend required
No self-scheduling
Schedule is based on facility needs

Unit Details

Skilled nursing / long-term care floor with a mix of long-term residents and residents working to regain strength to return home
30 residents per unit, 60 total for the floor
Private rooms

Required Qualifications

BLS certification
CPR required before first day

Clinical Responsibilities

RN responsibilities include IVs, PICC lines, mediports, and central lines
IV antibiotics, blood, and IV fluids may be administered

Work Environment

No tele monitors
N95 required
COVID vaccine not required

Staffing and Support

RN/LPN ratio: 1:15
CNA ratio: 1:10
Physicians available 24/7 by phone
On-site support includes PT, OT, ST, social services, case managers, business office, dieticians, pharmacist, and medical records

Floating

Float as needed; travelers float before core staff
