Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

Location

• Show Low, Arizona
• Regional hospital in the White Mountains area

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Shift & Hours

• Day shift
• 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Unit Details

• Operating Room with 4 ORs
• Nurse-to-patient ratio typically 1:1
• Circulating nurse role only
• Types of cases: General, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, OB-GYN, ENT
• 24/7 in-house pharmacy available

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license or compact RN license
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience

Orientation & Scheduling

• Orientation every Monday
• Weekend requirements vary and will be discussed during the interview
• No floating required

Additional Information

• Blue scrubs provided by the hospital
• Start dates available: February 26 or March 4
• Hiring process favors candidates with clean files, strong credentials, and all required certifications
• Extension of contract is often approved with advance notice (3-4 weeks recommended)
