Operating Room Technician

Location: Everett, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Rotating, variable 10-hour shifts
On-Call: Rotation as needed, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays; must work every other major holiday
Response Time: 30 minutes when on call

Job Description

• Position involves inpatient operating room duties with a focus on robotic surgery and endoscopy.
• Must have experience with DaVinci robotic systems and endoscopy procedures.
• Scrub color is flexible (any color allowed).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty.
• Prior travel experience is required.
• Active certification from NBSTSA, NCCT, or AST at time of submission.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season.
• Must provide 2 recent manager/supervisor references in the specialty.
• Skills checklist matching the specialty required.
• Driver’s license with address matching demographic information.
• Resume must reflect 2+ years of specialty experience.
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes when on call.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.

Additional Notes

• Locals within 50 miles are accepted.
• Must be flexible with shift start and end times.
• On-call responsibilities include weeknights, weekends, and holidays on a rotation basis.
