Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
Overview
- Travel assignment in Charleston, South Carolina
- Unit: Ultrasound
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Scheduled per facility policy; expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
- Shift schedule: Monday–Thursday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM; Friday 2:00 PM–8:30 PM
- Call rotation on Friday and Saturday nights on a 4–5 week rotation
- Unit staffing: all sonographers with ARDMS and RVT; staffing 24/7 when positions are filled
- Patient volume: 35 patients daily average
- Equipment: GE Logic E10
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Patient experience requirement: AIDET
- Dress code: Slate Gray
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (S)/ARDMS
- BLS
- Experience with vascular ultrasound
- Arterial vascular experience
- Vascular Sonographer experience
Preferred Qualifications
- RVT
