Overview

• Travel RN position in Lake Havasu City, Arizona
• 1 opening
• 3x12s schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period
• No call requirement
• 13-week contract
• Orientation is weekly
• Floating to other units in the hospital is expected, including IMC and ED
• 40-bed unit
• Patient ratio is 1:6
• Adult/geriatric patient population

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in an Acute Care setting

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of RN experience
• Preceptor experience
• Charge experience

Unit Details

• Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed/chair alarms, Omnicel drug dispensing cabinet, and Zoll defibrillators
• EHR: Medhost

Patient Population / Case Mix

• Total joint patients
• Surgical patients
• ACS
• Acute on chronic medical conditions such as CHF and CKD
• Alcohol withdrawal
• SIRS
• GIB

Additional Notes

• No block schedule requests
• 48-hour shifts may be considered but are not guaranteed
• Black scrubs required
• Open shoes are not allowed
