Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Alabama
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
Role Summary
- Provides care for antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care for Labor and Delivery patients
- Uses the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures
- Responsible for shift accountability, clinical judgment, leadership, delegation, and supervision of assigned personnel
