RN - Electrophysiology

Overview

• Travel RN position in Springfield, Missouri
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 4x10, 0700-1730
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekend hours
• No call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
• 1 year of Electrophysiology Lab experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required for travelers from November 1 to April 1; declinations are not accepted

Assignment Details

• Float as required by the facility
• EP lab setting with 3 EP rooms
• Cardiovascular patient population
• Experience scrubbing electrophysiology cases, including devices and ablations

Work Expectations

• Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care if needed
• Perform routine department duties when not in special procedures
• Clean necessary equipment and supplies used in special procedures
• Train students and other technologists in special procedures
• Must be able to handle standing, walking, lifting, patient transport, and stressful/emergency situations
• Must be able to stand up to six hours while wearing protective gear

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS from AHA only

Additional Notes

• Scrubs are provided by the facility and will change to surgical scrubs on arrival
• Must wear facility-provided surgical scrubs
• Equipment used includes digital angiography equipment, interventional equipment, PACS, and computers
