Job Overview

Travel RN position in Portland, Maine
Float pool ICU role
48 guaranteed hours per week
Shift options: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Weekend requirement: 75% weekends
No call required
Contract length: 21 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Clinical Setting

Float assignments may include Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU, SICU, MICU, and IMC
Typical ICU patients may include sedated, intubated, and pressor-dependent patients
Not expected to care for high-complexity CRRT patients

Work Expectations

Must be flexible with assignments
May be assigned to multiple different units in the same shift if needed

Patient Ratios

ICU: 1:2
IMC: 1:3

Dress Code

Non-specific scrubs
Open-toed shoes, Crocs, jeans, clothing with large logos/prints, and profanity are not allowed
