Job Overview

  • Travel RN position in Portland, Maine
  • Float pool ICU role
  • 48 guaranteed hours per week
  • Shift options: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
  • Weekend requirement: 75% weekends
  • No call required
  • Contract length: 21 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Maine
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Clinical Setting

  • Float assignments may include Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU, SICU, MICU, and IMC
  • Typical ICU patients may include sedated, intubated, and pressor-dependent patients
  • Not expected to care for high-complexity CRRT patients

Work Expectations

  • Must be flexible with assignments
  • May be assigned to multiple different units in the same shift if needed

Patient Ratios

  • ICU: 1:2
  • IMC: 1:3

Dress Code

  • Non-specific scrubs
  • Open-toed shoes, Crocs, jeans, clothing with large logos/prints, and profanity are not allowed
