RN Case Management

Overview

Travel assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Rotating weekends
No call required
Floating may include the entire hospital, including women’s and children’s services and the emergency department

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Case Management (1 year of experience)
Case Management experience within the last year
BLS
Master of Science in Nursing
Midas/InterQual use
Utilization Review (InterQual)

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of area resources
NATE

Work Environment

Typical patient census: 180–230
Patient ratio: 1:40 on weekdays
Case management team includes 6 staff members
Duties include face-to-face patient and family interviews, daily multidisciplinary rounds, InterQual reviews, observation reviews, DPEs, and discharge planning
Equipment used includes laptops and cell phones
EMR systems used: MediTech and Midas
Dress code: Caribbean blue scrubs with a white jacket
