Assignment Overview

• Travel position in Port Charlotte, Florida
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Inpatient physical therapy setting
• Acute care hospital with a 20-bed inpatient rehab unit

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS

Preferred Experience

• ICU experience
• Meditech experience

Schedule

• Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees

Unit Details

• Typical patient load is 9–10 patients per day
• Productivity standard is 75%
• Main equipment includes mobility equipment
• Typical duties include PT evaluation and treatment

Work Environment

• About 20 PT staff members
• Day shift coverage includes PT, OT, and SLP
• Collaborative, outgoing personality with strong communication skills is preferred
