Contract
- 13 weeks
- Travel assignment
- 36 hours per week
Schedule
- Shift: 10:45 AM to 11:15 PM
- No guaranteed weekends off
- No call requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
Preferred
- CPI
Key Responsibilities / Clinical Focus
- Float to ED holding
- Non-trauma emergency department care
- Triage
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Care for ventilated patients
Unit / Patient Population
- Level II trauma center
- 4 critical care bays
- Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
Additional Notes
- No PICU; patients requiring PICU-level care are transferred out
- Teleneurology support for stroke care
- Navy blue scrubs
