Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Level II Trauma Center
Bed Capacity: 309
Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (3 Cath Labs)
Staff: 20 total (Day shift: 8 RNs, 5 Techs, 2 Lead Techs, 1 CNC; Night shift: none)
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Equipment: GE
EMR Systems: MacLab and Meditech

Job Description

Perform procedures including PCI, Structural Heart, and diagnostic caths
Work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating schedule with hospital staff
Scrub color for RNs: Navy Blue

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in Cath Lab required (candidates without Cath Lab experience will not be considered)
