Unit & Patient Information

• Beds: 57 (all private)
• Patient Ratios: Up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
• Patient Population: All ages
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: COPD, post-op joint care, diabetic population
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: MediTech
• Float Requirements: Possible float to like units

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications required prior to start: ACLS, BLS, and Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC)

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
• Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse
• Dress code: Any scrub color allowed; branded attire from other facilities is not permitted

This travel RN position is for a Medical-Surgical unit in a Joint Commission-accredited, 57-bed acute care hospital serving a diverse patient population. The role requires at least one year of Med-Surg experience, current Kentucky RN licensure, and specific certifications (ACLS, BLS, HWC) before starting. The schedule includes 36 guaranteed hours per week with weekend and call responsibilities on an as-needed basis. Nurses may be asked to float to similar units.
