Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Echocardiology

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work as a Cardiac ECHO Sonographer within the Cardiopulmonary Specialty Services department.
• Facility is a level III trauma center with a broad range of medical services including surgical, rehabilitation, pediatric, behavioral health, and extensive imaging.
• Patient population includes all age groups (adult and pediatric).
• Equipment used includes GE Vivid E95.
• Electronic Health Record system: Cerner.
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
• Weekend hours: Call every 5th weekend.
• Call requirement: One week every 5th week.
• Team environment described as engaging and supportive.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Adult Echocardiography license in New Mexico
• Minimum 1 year of Adult Echocardiography experience within the last year
• Certification: CCI or RDCS
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience working with adult patients
• Experience working with pediatric patients
