CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Facility & Unit Information

• Trauma Level III, 190-bed teaching hospital
• Department: CT Scan
• Patient Population: Adult inpatient, ER, community hospital, adult ICU
• Daily Caseload: Approximately 74 patients
• Equipment: GE (including GE Optima 660 and/or GE Revolution preferred)
• EHR System: Cerner
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: General CT (Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, Head, Extremities), Cancer, Trauma, Pulmonary Embolism (PE), Stroke
• Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, days 6:30pm-7:00am (Thursday, Friday, Saturday; days may flex)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Call Requirements: None
• Dress Code: Grey scrubs

Requirements

• Specialty: CT Tech
• Years of Experience: 2 years (higher value taken)
• Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced Certification, Maine License
• Must have experience with GE equipment, specifically GE Optima 660 and/or GE Revolution
• Skills/Experience Required:

  • Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU
  • IV Starts, Contrast administration
  • Imaging of Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal system
  • Procedures including Aspirations/Biopsies, CT Angiography (CTAs), Multiplanar Reconstruction
• Preferred Skills: Outpatient experience, PACS, CT Arthrography, Drainage, Myelography, Cerner EHR
• Return to Office (RTO) policy: 7 days max (for out-of-state travelers only)

• 13 weeks
