Patient Population: Generalized cardiac patients, ages young adult to elderly adult
Equipment Used: Life Paks, Zoll, Masimo
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner (preferred skill)
Float Requirements: May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units

Requirements

Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIH Certification
Licenses: Registered Nurse License
Experience: Minimum 2 years in cardiac specialty (highest required)
Preferred Skills: Experience with Cerner EHR
Personality Fit: Family-oriented unit

Additional Information

Common diagnoses and treatments include chest pain, atrial fibrillation (A-fib), congestive heart failure (CHF), pre- and post-care for cardiac catheterizations (groin & radial), and video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS).
Scrub color is flexible; any color is acceptable.
No specific call requirements or unacceptable attire noted.
