Travel Contract (13 weeks)

Job Description

Strong neuro experience required, including neuro surgery involving spine and craniotomies.
Must have surgical experience or have completed a perioperative internship program.
Typical procedures include orthopedic procedures, general surgery, advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures, and bariatrics.
Preferred skills: DaVinci robotic experience and orthopedic experience.
Unit has 12 operating rooms with a 1:1 patient ratio.
Work environment values outgoing, confident, friendly team players.
Weekend call rotation is self-scheduled by staff.
Scrubs are provided by the department.

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification is mandatory.
Surgical Technician experience within the last year (minimum 1 year).
Completion of a perioperative internship program or equivalent surgical experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Strong neuro experience, including neuro surgery involving spine and craniotomies.

Additional Information

Floating area includes Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for peripheral vascular surgery.
Shift hours approximately 36 hours per week.
