Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Work in a 6-room Cardiac Cath/EP Lab with 9 holding bays.
- Unit handles 10-25 cases daily, ranging from diagnostic procedures to complicated PCI and Structural Heart interventions.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio:
- Holding Area: 1 nurse to 3 patients
- Intraprocedure: 1 nurse to 1 patient
- Shift: Morning shift, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Weekly schedule: 4 to 10-hour shifts plus on-call assignments
- Call requirements: 1-2 nights per week and every 4-5 weekends, depending on staffing and department needs
- Holiday and weekend on-call required
- Floating: Must be willing and able to float between affiliated campuses or locations within the health system on short notice, including same-day changes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab nursing
- Prior travel experience required (must have completed at least one prior travel contract)
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) recommended
Additional Information
- The facility is a Level-1 Trauma Center.
- Floating assignments may involve travel between campuses; mileage for such travel will be reimbursed.
