Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Float pool position covering ICU and PCU units (14 critical care units including ICU and SDU/PCU)
Care for complex critical care patients including:
- Ventilator management
- Drips and titratable medication management
- Central and arterial lines
- PA/Swan Ganz catheters
- Respiratory support
Schedule: 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, rotating 3-4-3-4 schedule
Work every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
One year of trauma experience, including experience with Level 1 Trauma patients within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Experience working in a university hospital setting
