Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Float pool position covering ICU and PCU units (14 critical care units including ICU and SDU/PCU)
- Care for complex critical care patients including:
- Ventilator management
- Drips and titratable medication management
- Central and arterial lines
- PA/Swan Ganz catheters
- Respiratory support
- Schedule: 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, rotating 3-4-3-4 schedule
- Work every other weekend
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- One year of trauma experience, including experience with Level 1 Trauma patients within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience working in a university hospital setting
