Operating Room RN Job Summary

Location

Louisville, Kentucky

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Variable shift times, mainly 10:45–11:15, with possible start times of 6:30–7:00 or 8:30–9:00
12-hour shifts
36 hours per week
1 weekend shift per month
2 call shifts per month
Holiday shift required if it falls within the contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Operating Room experience within the last year
1 year of Operating Room experience
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Previous nursing experience

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, rounds, and care coordination
Support admission, transfer, discharge, and patient/family education activities
Perform ongoing assessment, documentation, delegation, and response to changes in patient condition
Participate in quality improvement activities and unit-based support of patient safety and care standards
