Nursing Director - Inpatient Care

Location: York, Maine
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

  • Provide leadership and oversee operations of medical/surgical units and ICU.
  • Responsible for nursing care, safety, and quality.
  • Manage nursing services using human resource and financial management principles.
  • Support patient and family services through interdisciplinary team collaboration.
  • Collaborate with physicians to implement policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.
  • Assume 24-hour responsibility, authority, and accountability for patient care activities and service operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Minimum of 1 year of Director of Nursing experience, with such experience within the last year.

Additional Information

  • Timecards must be filled out properly to be processed.
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
