Nursing Director - Inpatient Care

Location: York, Maine
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday through Friday
Hours per Week: 40

Job Overview

Provide leadership and oversee operations of medical/surgical units and ICU.
Responsible for nursing care, safety, and quality.
Manage nursing services using human resource and financial management principles.
Support patient and family services through interdisciplinary team collaboration.
Collaborate with physicians to implement policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.
Assume 24-hour responsibility, authority, and accountability for patient care activities and service operations.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Minimum of 1 year of Director of Nursing experience, with such experience within the last year.

Additional Information

Timecards must be filled out properly to be processed.
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
