Job Opportunity: RN Acute Care - Med-Surg Adult - Nights

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry setting.
Utilize specialized knowledge to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
May provide Intermediate Care in the CCU as needed (requires ACLS certification).
Work 12-hour night shifts including weekend rotations.
Participate in call rotation, taking 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed.
Patient census is growing due to increased orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses.

Required Qualifications

License: Current RN license valid in Colorado.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of RN experience in Med-Surg (use the higher experience requirement stated).
Certifications:
- Current BLS (American Heart Association)
- Current ACLS (American Heart Association)

Additional Information

Must be located at least 75 miles away from the facility (radius rule).
Housing possibility: furnished studio apartments available nearby (not included here).
