Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location: Lake Geneva, Wisconsin

Shift: Night shift with rotating weekends
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours

Overview

Experienced ER RN needed for night-shift work in an emergency department setting.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• TNCC
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards, policies, procedures, and state law
• Document care according to standards of care
• Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
• Develop and carry out individualized patient plans of care, including patient and family education
• Participate in unit performance improvement activities, shared governance, practice activities, and peer review
• Use clinical expertise to support other units and escalate patient safety or experience concerns appropriately
