Registered Nurse (Acute Care - Med-Surg Adult) - Nights

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Job Summary

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an acute care/medical-surgical observation unit. Care includes patients with orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses. The role involves planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care using specialized nursing knowledge.

Shift Details

12-hour night shifts
Weekend rotation required
Must participate in call rotation: 1 call shift every 2 weeks (may replace guaranteed hours if requested due to staffing needs)
Average 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Observation experience
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Requirements

Must agree to radius rule: permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
CAPS requirement: must apply ASAP; processing may take up to two weeks
Accurate Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for onboarding
