Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location

  • Roseburg, Oregon

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Shift

  • Nights, 12-hour shifts

Schedule

  • Every other weekend
  • Holidays scheduled per contract

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • TNCC certification

License Notes

  • Oregon license is not required at time of submission; a 90-day emergency license may be requested by the facility

Unit Details

  • Level III trauma center
  • 21 ED beds and 1 trauma bay
  • 4 fast-track beds
  • 2 triage rooms; travelers may triage
  • ER holds are managed within the ER
  • 4 psych/seclusion rooms, with 2 additional ER rooms that can be converted to crisis rooms
  • Approximately 125 patients per day
  • Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1
  • Telemetry is used on the unit

Additional Information

  • Orientation is provided before the first shift
  • No call or standby requirement
  • No floating requirement
  • Scrubs: any color except purple
