Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• Driver’s license required for submission
• 1 year of experience
• Inpatient acute Rehab experience; not SNF or LTACH

Preferred

• Rehab certified
• QIM experience
• Previous travel experience

Unit Details

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6–8 depending on acuity
• Common diagnoses include post-op cardiovascular surgery, falls, knee surgeries, back surgeries, strokes, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsons, and some COVID post-acute conditioning
• PICC/Ports are seen on the unit
• No continuous tele monitoring
• RT can assist with CPAP/BiPAP settings if patients use them at home
• Floating: MedSurg
• Standby may be required for low census and pending admissions
• Weekend and holiday work expected based on unit needs
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
• Orientation: one 12-hour shift with a preceptor
