• Location: Parkersburg, West Virginia
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour days; staggered shifts between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Call: 24/7 on-call coverage; call starts at 3:30 PM until 7:00 AM with a 30-minute response time
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend and every 3rd day of the week on call
• Holiday Requirement: Covered by call
• Orientation: 1-2 days, 8-hour days; includes required call nights and weekends
• Dress Code: Light blue scrubs provided; nurses provide their own shoes (shoe covers provided)

Job Description

• Work in a Cath Lab with 3 rooms and 3 teams (2 RAD techs & 2 RNs each)
• Average 13 cases per day involving diagnostic and interventional procedures including PCI, TEEs, balloon pumps, pacers, event recorders, and defibrillators
• RN duties include circulating, sedating (not scrubbing), prepping patients, placing IVs if needed, and assisting physicians
• Documentation in EPIC (CUPID for scheduling)
• Cardiologist on-call coverage after hours

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid West Virginia RN license
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Prior Travel Experience: Highly preferred (not strictly required but strongly favored)

Additional Information

• Must comply with a 50-mile radius rule for submissions
• Must provide a copy of an unexpired driver’s license
• Work closely with charge nurse and manager who coordinate scheduling and call coverage
