Location: Needham Heights, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 17 weeks
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week)
Patient Care Setting: Home Health
Weekly Hour Guarantee: 32 hours
On Call/Weekend Requirement: Yes
Coverage Areas: Boston and surrounding regions including South Boston, Dorchester, Back Bay, Roxbury, Beacon Hill, South End
Mileage Reimbursement: Yes, between patient visits

Job Responsibilities

• Initiate, develop, implement, and revise plans of care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise home health aides and licensed practical vocational nurses, provide instruction, assign tasks per state and federal regulations, and conduct required supervisory visits.
• Deliver high-quality clinical services within scope of practice and infection control standards, aligned with the plan of care and coordinated with the healthcare team.
• Complete comprehensive assessments (OASIS), including medication reconciliation, accurately and timely.
• Document patient visits thoroughly and in compliance with policy and payer requirements, ensuring timely syncing.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent infection control experience
• Home Health experience
• Nursing Home experience

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Business casual (no jeans), no scrub color preference
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
