RN - L&D

Overview

Travel RN role in L&D.
Assignment length: 13 weeks.
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month.
Call: No.
Floating: As needed.
Unit has 12 beds.
Patient ratio: 2:1.
Staffing includes 1 unit tech each shift and 1 unit secretary on day shift.
Documentation system: Meditech.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience).
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.
ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
BLS issued by American Heart Association.
NRP.
AWHONN.
Experience in Charge roles.
Experience circulating for C-sections.

Preferred Qualifications

RNC.
Meditech experience.

Procedures / Unit Focus

Circulate C-sections.
