RN-OR Circulating Nurse

Overview

Travel assignment in Rockport, Maine
Operating Room
36 hours per week
4 9-hour shifts, 0700-1630
Rotating day off
1 opening

Call

Call is expected
1 weeknight call per week
1 weekend of call every 6 weeks or so, depending on staffing

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
OR - Operating Room (5 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS for being on call
Experience in a smaller facility OR
Experience in multiple service lines

Preferred Experience

Ortho
Urology
OB/GYN
General
ENT

Float Scope

May be asked to help on other units for 1:1 during low census, but this is not regular

Pros

This hospital is hands down the least toxic hospital I have ever had the privilege of working. I absolutely love the people I work with. Everyone I come into contact with likes what they do and they do it with passion. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s close.
