36 hours per week
Day shift (7 AM - 7 PM)

Unit Information

Unit: 7 North-Spine
Beds: 18-20
Staff per shift:
- Day: 1 charge nurse, 2-3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-3 PCTs
- Night: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-2 PCTs
Patient ratio: 6:1 with LPN support
Equipment used: Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, PCA pumps
EMR system: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

Burn care experience
Wound care and ostomy care experience
ACLS certification

Typical Procedures

Wound and dressing care on post-op burn and flap patients
