- 36 hours per week
- Day shift (7 AM - 7 PM)
Unit Information
- Unit: 7 North-Spine
- Beds: 18-20
- Staff per shift:
- Day: 1 charge nurse, 2-3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-3 PCTs
- Night: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-2 PCTs
- Patient ratio: 6:1 with LPN support
- Equipment used: Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, PCA pumps
- EMR system: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Burn care experience
- Wound care and ostomy care experience
- ACLS certification
Typical Procedures
- Wound and dressing care on post-op burn and flap patients
