Unit Overview

• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Beds: 16
• Patient Ratio: 4:1
• Patient Types: Cardiac, Respiratory, DKA, Sepsis patients
• Equipment: Monitored private rooms, Alaris IV pumps, Respiratory ventilators
• Documentation System: MediTech Expanse
• Scheduling: Full-time night shift with every other weekend required
• Floating Policy: Voluntary based on expertise
• Dress Code: Navy blue nurse scrubs
• Scheduling Model: Flexible self-scheduling within unit rules

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• ICU background with experience managing critically ill patients
