Registered Nurse - Endoscopy (Travel)

Location: Inverness, Florida
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Work in an Endoscopy unit with approximately 3 beds and a staff of 5 (RNs and Endo Techs).
• Day shift staffing: 3 RNs and 2-3 Endo Techs; night shift staffing varies.
• Patient ratio is typically 1:1.
• Procedures performed include Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, Robotic Bronchoscopy, Cardioversion, and TEE.
• Unit uses Endoscopy equipment.
• Work environment is fast-paced, requiring multitasking and the ability to handle high-stress situations.
• Schedule includes working every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff.
• Variable call schedule may be required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Endoscopy, with experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
