Job Type

Travel RN

Schedule

Day or evening 12-hour shifts
48 hours per week preferred; 36 hours acceptable
Every other weekend
Rotating call

Contract Length

26 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (3 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Experience in an inpatient setting
Cardiac drips experience
Phase 1 post-anesthesia care experience
Groin management experience
TEE/Cardiovascular/Catheterization/EP procedure experience
Preoperative experience
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Float Requirements

Floats as needed to PACU, IMC, and ICU

Unit/Patient Care Focus

Pre-operative and post-operative PACU care
Cardiac cath, EP, TAVR, TEE/cardioversion, and other OR procedures
Phase 1 care
Groin management
Cardiac drips, IVs, EKGs
Telemetry monitoring

Additional Notes

Online education modules and unit orientation provided as needed
Must be flexible and a team player
