Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
BLS
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
Post-surgical experience (non-OR post recovery) in urology, orthopedics, or general surgery

Schedule and Work Expectations

Every other weekend required
No call required
May float to Med Surg and Progressive care areas
Flu vaccination required for travelers from November 1 to April 1, unless client-approved exemption is granted

Unit Details

Surgical unit with 23 beds
Typical patient ratio: 1:6
Post-surgical Med-Surg population
Common patient mix includes urology, ortho, general surgery recovery, and medical overflow

Preferred Experience

Peri dialysis experience

Work Environment

Team-oriented communication is important
Black scrubs required
