Occupational Therapist (Pediatrics Outpatient) - Travel Position

Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Services include medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology, pediatrics, behavioral health, day surgery, imaging, and lab testing

Position Details

• Department: Rehabilitation / Occupational Therapy
• Specialty: Pediatrics Outpatient
• Shift: Days (7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed / 40 scheduled (overtime requires pre-approval)
• Days: Monday through Thursday
• Patient Load: 10-14 scheduled patients per day
• Patient Population: Pediatrics and special needs
• Common Diagnoses: Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, Autism, premature babies
• EHR System: Cerner
• Dress Code: Dark gray top (scrubs or polo/button-up) and black pants; no jeans
• Breaks: 30-minute unpaid lunch (12:30 pm – 1:00 pm)
• Mandatory Meetings: Attendance expected; if during lunch break, timecard adjusted to paid time
• Vaccinations: All required vaccinations must be verified

Requirements

• Licensure: New Mexico State OT License
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Occupational Therapy specialty (Pediatrics Outpatient experience preferred)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified / not required
