Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Overview

• Level III trauma center with 198 beds
• Services include medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology, pediatrics, behavioral health, day surgery, imaging, and lab testing
• Located in the scenic San Juan River Valley with access to outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and national parks

Position Details

• Department: Rehabilitation Department / Occupational Therapy
• Specialty: Pediatrics Outpatient
• Shift: Days (7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed / 40 scheduled
• Breaks: Unpaid 30-minute lunch (12:30 pm – 1:00 pm)
• Days of Work: Monday through Thursday
• Patient Load: 10-14 scheduled patients per day
• EHR System: Cerner
• Dress Code: Dark gray (pewter) top and black pants; scrubs or polo/button-up; no jeans
• Vaccinations: All required vaccinations must be verified

Requirements

• Licensure: New Mexico State OT License
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Occupational Therapy specialty (Pediatrics Outpatient experience preferred)
• Patient Population: Pediatrics and special needs
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, Autism, premature babies, etc.
• Call/Float: Not required
• Overtime: Must be pre-approved

Additional Notes

• Mandatory meetings may occur during lunch break; timecard adjustments will be made accordingly
• No weekend hours or call requirements
