Location: Lone Tree, Colorado

Unit Information

Unit: Labor & Delivery
Number of Beds: 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, 3 L&D ORs
Staffing (Night Shift): 1 charge nurse, 7-9 RNs, 1 CST
Patient Ratios: Typically 2:1, 1:1 for complicated patients
Equipment: FHR monitors (Novii and GE), FSE (fetal scalp electrodes)
EMR Systems: CPN and Meditech

Job Description

Provide nursing care for labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum patients
Perform vaginal and c-section deliveries
Deliver care through nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Direct and coordinate all nursing care on the unit

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS (ALS preferred)
Registered Nurse License

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Mom/Baby, Pediatrics, and/or NICU

Additional Notes

The unit is competitive and values experienced staff
Schedule: Night shift (7 PM - 7 AM)
Typical night shift matrix includes 8-10 staff members
Candidates without required skills will not be considered
Preferred candidates with additional pediatric or NICU experience will be prioritized
